Julie Schoen is an author, yoga instructor, former model, teacher, and co-founder of the company Little Pearl Publishing, dedicated to bringing the world "little pearls" of wisdom.

Over the past six years, Julie Schoen has dedicated her life to pursuing knowledge and sharing it through her writing and teaching. In 2005, she was in a hit-and-run car accident, leaving her with serious injuries to her head and spine. After consulting numerous physical therapists and chiropractors, Schoen turned to yoga and meditation to heal her body and spirit. During the long healing process from this accident, she developed a new gratefulness for life's opportunities and takes advantage of each one that she is given.

As an experienced teacher and yoga instructor, Schoen has traveled the world studying with and absorbing the wisdom of each person she meets. Definitely for you if you're stressed or tight!

I think most people think stretching is an extra, "if you have time, do it but if not don't sweat it" part of fitness and health. This book will convince you otherwise!!! I want to go stretch now!! The author does a good job of explaining why stretching is important. It's easy to follow, too - clear, pretty photos and instructions. Even if you just did 5-10 of these stretches you would feel sooo good!

Especially recommend it if you're stressed. I've read her other book "Keep Calm & Breathe" and the combo of these two helps stress a LOT : )

A guide to stretching that works!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I recently suffered through a car accident and as a result have numerous issues to deal with now. This handy guide gives me not only the basics but many (many!) I hadn't seen before, and am now trying.

i've had many problems since having my second child. after childbirth, my right hip was lower than my left also tilted in and down (yeah sounds impossible but it's not) that plus muscles in constant spasm caused me to be in alot of pain. i saw a physical therapist and he said if i didn't take care of this problem it would start twisting my spine. um scary! i haven't really been able to exercise b/c that seemed to only aggravate things. well i found this book and thank God i did. it has been an answer to prayer. i thought i knew how to stretch properly but i guess not. i told my husband that i haven't felt this good since before i had my daughter.
