Matlab code is total crap

The book seem to explain some theoretical concepts, but doesnt add much compared to Agrawal's fiber books.
I was mainly interested in the Matlab code/models in the book, however those turned out to be a total mess, not clear what code relates to what and my feeling that this is just a list of almost random code lines from different places.
VERY disappointing!
