An amazing series that will blow you away!

This series has made such an impact in my life! I stumbled upon this series & entered a world of wonderful characters, dialogue & story line. It is an imaginative & unique take on the paranormal. The characters are so rich, complex & human (ironically). They felt so real to me.
There is such a depth to the characters in this series. There is intelligence, great humor & wit. There is both lightheartedness mixed with the deepest of emotions & intensity. There are ethical issues & honor. There is good & evil. I laughed, I cried, I sighed, I was at the edge of my seat. It's exciting yet touching & poignant.
I must mention that I've always been turned off by boxing & MMA as sports. Yet H.T. has been able to get my juices flowing with his descriptions. I found it fascinating & truly enjoyed even these scenes! You have no idea what that is saying. I am not usually easily swayed in my likes & can be quite stubborn. But the stories & characters pulled me right in & I became quickly addicted.
Because of this series, I started researching H.T. to be able to read everything & anything he published. (I've done so). I joined his Facebook fan page & got the delightful experience to befriend not only many fellow fans, but H.T. himself. He is truly a remarkable man and author. I write this review from my heart. It is really wonderful. Give it a try & decide for yourself..

Outstanding

I was not sure about the werewolf books until I started reading. The 2 leading characters, both werewolf and Vampire, are best friends so it would be pretty hard not to like both of them. I enjoyed this book set so much that I have also purchased the follow up books for both Josiah (Vampire) and Tommy (Werewolf). I highly recommend this Author......very well written. You won't be able to put them down once you start reading .

The title is a misnomer. This is not an 8 book set of the same story!

There are only 7 books that chronicle the Vampire/Werewolf story of two friends. The eighth book is unrelated to the central characters of Tommy and Josiah.
There are some high points to the books. The plot is original as to the Vampire/ Werewolf legends. The characters are well fleshed out and the action moves along nicely with well thought out dialogue. The first four books revolve around Josiah and how he is turned into a vampire, unwillingly. But Josiah is a different kind of vampire. He does not drink blood, he transitions into a great white eagle and can be out in daylight and he is the Chosen One. The next three books give the back story on Tommy, a professional MMA fighter who had to make the difficult decision to become either a vampire or werewolf, those were his only options.
I was amazed that an author who is reported to have sold 250,000 books would let this be published in its current state. The editing was horrible! Grammatical errors, spelling errors, double words, missing words, mistakes in pronouns, awkward sentence structure, not even able to keep the characters straight as to who was talking. It drove me crazy and tore me out of the story a lot! I had to take frequent breaks to give my jumbled thoughts some breathing room!
For that reason and because the next vampire book is listed at $3.99 for 82 pages (hope the author can afford an editor at that price) I am done with this series and probably the author too.
